Environment
- Because I believe the the environment is the source of livelihood and life of many all.

The Halloween BOOycott!

It's that time of the year again when we buy loads of candies to share to our friends, Halloween's approaching, although, trick or treating is not widely practiced in the Philippines, still, the purchase of candies are rampant.

Mars, ring a bell?

Mars is a worldwide candy making company that offers, yes, yummy and delicious goodies, Snickers, Skittles, Twix, etc. but do we really know what is behind the Mars Bars?

Animal testing...yes...and no ordinary animal testing...intense animal testing.

Mars recently funded a gory experiment on rats to determine the effects of chocolate ingredients on their blood vessels. Experimenters force-fed the rats by shoving plastic tubes down their throats and then cut open the rats' legs to expose arteries, which were clamped shut to block blood flow. After the experiment, the animals were killed. Mars also supported an experiment in which baby mice were crammed into small Plexiglas chambers—which were each about half the size of a 12-ounce soda can—and submerged them for nearly five hours in chilled water—just to see if an ingredient affected their breathing rate.

Not one of the tests funded by Mars is required by law, and studies using human subjects are more reliable. Mars' top competitor, Hershey's, has pledged not to fund or conduct experiments on animals.

This Halloween and on other ordinary days, if you feel like having a dose of chocolate or candy, think twice of buying certain brands, make sure it does not have any animals involved in it...but don't worry, those fancy rabbit shaped chocolates are not made of real rabbits.

Academic Testing does not kill...Animal Testing does

Animal testing is rampant throughout the world, many firms do not take into consideration the feelings of these animals and the harm they give to the entire world.

My side on Animal Testing, I admit, my eyes are opened to the painful reality:

How would you react if I say Animals have Souls?

Philosophy once landed in my hands, and this is what I will have to say about that:

Animals do have souls, face reality, every living being constitutes a body and a soul combined, it is just varied whether or not the soul is dependent to the body system and its operations.
Animals are the middle in the triamvirate of living beings, they may not have rationality, but they constitute a sensitive soul that gives them sense and a body that gives them feelings.

There is a very big difference between Man and Animals, even Apes which we acclaim 99% similar to humans, even the smallest 1% is a very crucial factor differeciating animals from man.

Animal Testing must stop, Animal must be freed from this form of torture, animals must be set free from the hands of those who abuse.

It's a very imple message, and a very simple act to do, STOP ANIMAL TESTING!!!
